My meeting with [livejournal.com profile] rhya didn't go terribly long, which means I'm free for social. Free, however, doesn't mean able to go out anywhere, at least at the moment. I have laundry to finish and this upcoming week's lunch to make. But I'd be happy for company for the evening (unsure about overnight for those who might normally stay over) in watching television or Green Wing, puttering around on the wireless, or whatever.

If you're interested, reply here or, if you don't hear from me quickly, call my cell. I may be buying ingredients for tonight's cooking.

Since some people asked, here's more information on the Lush event going on this Saturday in Harvard Square. Who's interested, again? Sounds like they don't expect people to have to be in couples.

On December 29th, I want to go see the opening of Pan's Labyrinth. Yes, at midnight, if the theatres are playing that game.

Who's with me? This isn't a set commitment, more of a long-range date grab. I'd love to get 30+ fantasy fans in a theatre for this one.

And come on. It mentions Pan. And a labyrinth. There is no way on this green earth I'm missing it.

Is there any big, geeky thing I'm forgetting happening on Labor Day? I'm trying to decide if I should apply to work that holiday or not.

Date grab time!

I will probably be holding two different celebrations for my upcoming Big Birthday:

1) A dinner mob of some sort on the night of my actual birthday, Monday, April 17, 2006. (I will be asking for a floating holiday that day; if I am declined, I'll let you know.) It'll probably begin around 7 - 7:30. Suggestions are welcome for a good Camberville dinner place for larger mobs is welcome.

2) Some sort of party / event the Saturday after before my birthday, April 15, 2006. Ideas are forming. (Yes, this is a change from the original date, as it conflicted with the next TMA run. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bleemoo for pointing that out.)
